Boxwood winery High School Senior PortraitHigh School senior portrait session shot at Boxwood winery set on 16 acres of prime land in Middleburg, one of the wealthiest counties in Virginia. Boxwood winery has began as a horse farm, and was eventually converted to a winery with rolling hills, cultivated gardens stonework and iron work in the form of gates and fences, as well as rustic wood fences and a red barn. There is a pond on the property with a small row boat and a reflecting pool lined with stone. Middleburg is home to many horse farms, as well as wineries, Foxcroft Academy Girls Boarding School, and the famous Salamander Resort, owned by Sheila C. Johnson. The rolling hills of Middleburg create a beautiful backdrop for any portrait session, and this group of high school seniors was no exception. Photograph taken by Arnel Gonce Photography near the pond with subject sitting in a small boat on the pond, just off the dock, with natural light, diffused by cloud cover. Black and white image taken with Canon 5DMIII and Canon 70-200mm f/2.8 lens. Settings were 100 ISO, at 70mm at f/2.8 and 1/800 of a second. Image post processed in Adobe photoshop, Adobe Lightroom and Alien Skin Exposures.
