Boxwood winery sits on 16 acres of rolling green hills in Loudon County, Middleburg Virginia. Boxwood winery's rolling green hills not only are home to the vines that are responsible for their award winning wines, but also has a pond with a small rowboat and dock, stonework structures, footpaths, and ironworks fences and gates as well as a large red barn and aged fences mixed with ironworks with gardens of flowers and trees, some of which are fruit bearing. Loudon County is one of the wealthiest counties in Virginia, and boasts wineries, and horse farms as well as The Salamander Resort, owned by Sheila C. Johnson.
